タイトル Notes on the emergence and persistency of unequal exchange in intertemporal economies

This presentation provides a brief overview on the issues of unequal exchange (UE) in the general equilibrium approach. In the literature, the concept of UE (or exploitation) is mainly custom-defined for static models with specific assumptions. We summarize features of traditional analyses and give a dynamic generalization of the framework. The generalization enables us to find examples of non-exploitative equilibrium paths. Such examples have puzzling property and lead the problem of defining the concept of UE.
